Background check
Question, Background check SS#, degree verification, criminal do they still check past employers. Reason I ask is my month and year of jobs is correct but I may have incorrectly listed the day of hire 14th instead of 16th etc.. Is that a deal breaker and do they even check that?
ohtheluck, Most people don't have the exact date they were hired or left a company, especially if it was 10 or 15 years ago. Month and year should be sufficient. Think about this for a minute: If they penalize you for stating the wrong day of the month you started work, would you really want to work for these people anyways? I sure as heck wouldn't.
Don't worry about it. As long as you got the month and year right, being off a couple days from the actual start date won't matter at all. Paul W. Barada The Negotiation Expert | |
