How long should I wait until I follow up
Interview was Monday. Recruiter said they will know by Wednesday. It is Friday and no phone call YET... Do I call? or wait until next week?
Wait until Tuesday of next week. If you haven't heard, you can call and ask the status. If they still haven't decided, ask when you should follow up again.
Tess Thanks Tess... I am just anxious due to the fact that there a high probability that I will interview with another company mid next week that doesn't require me to move!!!
I'd wait until Monday or Tuesday of next week, the 21st or 22nd to make a follow-up call. Ask for the person with whom you spoke and make it clear that you're just checking on the status of your candidacy. My bet would be that other things have come up that have delayed a call-back to you. Paul W. Barada The Negotiation Expert Thanks Paul. Hope your vacation was good!!! In case I do get the offer, should I request a package to see all the details? Can I request a travel allowance and temporary housing? Other companies offered that for me... Just wasn't the right fit... Any suggestions would be appreciated. (Actually, it was a one-day business conference with one of travel getting there and one day getting back.) If you get the offer and the salary is acceptable then ask if they can run through what's contained in the benefit package. If nothing is mentioned about relocation, again, just ask 'em what's contained in their relocation package and see what they say. Zat help? Paul W. Barada The Negotiation Expert
Ok. Thanks. I believe their recruiter said they will have a relocation package but didn't go through it in details. I guess it is a waiting game name, in the mean time, I am hoping for a interview next week !!! Thanks.
If you have other interview, don't call them, wait for them to call back. You want to get all of the offers as close together as possible, so you don't have to stall anyone. As far a requesting a package, they're not going to do anything about your 'package' You're stuck with what God gave you. | |
