Offer no reference checkI don’t know if the is the correct thread to post my question, but if it is not, I am sorry in advance. I got a job offer already and I will be starting next week on the new job. However, the new employer did not ask for my references or have me fill out an employment application yet. Therefore, I know they have no way to check my references or back group. I know that most of companies do thorough back ground check or reference check before they hire someone. I just wonder if I should be worried about anything. Not that I have any thing to hide or bad back-group.Probably not. Lots of employer don't check anything. On the other hand, lots check everything before making a job offer. Believe it or not, there are still many employers who take the "just show me an honest face" approach to screening candidates for employment. And I suppose it's possible that they could check your background and/or references after you've started - it's a stupid way to do it, but that's how some employers handle it. Zat help? Paul W.
