Stay relaxed - its all negotiable.  Some people are far too concrete about these matters and feel they've painted themselves into a corner.  Simply unpaint yourself.  If they mention your range you can laugh and say you hadn't really researched pay in the area prior to posting (a "misspeak", shall you say).  Counter with "what do you feel an acceptable starting range might be that would be appropriate for this area?"  Good luck.
