Does anyone know...

Does anyone know the starting salary range for an assistant manager at a Panda Express Gourmet Chinese Restaurant?  I am a fresh college graduate.

I have no idea what Panda Express Gourmet Chinese Restaurant pays new assistant managers.  One thing I think you should do, however, is figure out what level of income you require in order to pay your bills and make ends meet.  Whip out the old check book and figure out what it costs you to pay all the bills each month over the last several months.  Come up with an average cost-per-month and take that amount times 12.  The result should give you a fair idea of the level of annual income you require and below which  you really can' t go and still make ends meet.  What ever that "can' t go below" amount is, call it $X.  Add about $10K to $X and you should have an anticipated salary range within which you should want to be.  You may never have to tell anybody what that range is, but YOU need to know what it is in order to make a more infomed employment decision.  If an offer comes you' re way that' s less than $X, however, that would be the time to politey ask if their offer is negotiable and see what they say.  If it is, counter by saying you were anticipating an offer in your $X to $Y range.  If the offer isn' t negotiable, you may have to keep looking of a job because there' s no point in taking a job that won' t allow you to at least pay your bills.  Hope this helps.

And whatever the amount is, I' d bet that they will tell you what they' ll pay, not ask what you want.  This isn' t the kind of job where there' s a negotiation process.
