And also the cover letter board. Both need serious help and that' s where you' ll find it. I did not put the dates. I was looking for the board were do I find it "....Interpersonal/Communicational ..." Huh? First of all, do not capitalize these words (nor do you capitalize administrative in running text, as you do further on). Second, there is no such word as "communicational." The phrase is "communication skills." I did not read your resume, but your cover letter needs work.... Monster has some great people who can help you with your cover letter and your resume. Unfortunately, this isn' t the spot. Thank you so much! I am so lost. I have gotten a lot of call backs from my current resume, I ' m just glad they didn' t realize the mistakes. I found the resume tip board I will post it there and see if I can get more help!! You will get some excellent feedback if you post your cover letter in the cover letter forum and your resume in the resume forum. I'll also try to buzz by and take a look when I have more time. It sounds as if you have some good experience and background, but you need a stronger cover letter, and your resume needs to have more than just a list of tasks for each job. You need to have some context in which to frame your responsibilities and show how you add value to the company, and how your accomplishments stack up to, say, the "standard" for the industry. In the mortgage field, which is highly competitive, are 4 closed internet deals considered high, average, etc.? And collecting RESPAs isn't a great highlight--better to say that you are responsible for reviewing the good faith estimate with clients to ensure they have a thorough understanding of all fees & services involved in placing their loan, etc. Things like that, which will clearly demonstrate your strong customer-relations skills. Merely listing what you do doesn't do that. I really appreciate your feedback!!! You give it without making me feel like................................duh? you should know this | |
