trying to find out about the format in this...makes it difficult to read and I posted in the water cooler area with a link to this. Hang in there for replies. Not a lot of people over here yet.
I' d add a section for education/cert. If you have a state license, EPA cert, anything like that add it.
Not sure if you clicked on the full message. most of the resume is cut off so you have to click on full message to veiw it all. This is my cut and paste version. Most jobs that I applied to want you to cut and a paste the resume in a little box. I'm not sure what it looks like when the employer sees it. Usually the format and font changes. I do have a regular resume that has billits. The biggest problem is that I am in the middle of no were and i'm looking to relocate. I did have a company fly me to Dallas, TX from PA which is rare. lol the whole flight I was thinking "Man do they have the right resume". I havn't heard back from them that stuff takes time. I"m not really sure on how to change the objective into a summary. I think the cover letter and work history tells that. This is my first resume in 7 years. I wanted to keep it to the point and have them wanting to ask more about my experience. Even interviews are hard. I always seem to cut myself short on my knowledge. I can learn pretty fast, but If i'm not a Guru at something I hesitate which shows that I don't have that experience. Each is getting easier. I had a few offers but nothing great. I am trying to find that long term company that has the tools I need to advance. Can you c&p into several messages. I wish I knew how many characters it allowed and pretty frustrated with the truncated thing going on...I complained but doubt anything will change If you could post it in several messages I had a lot of suggestions but it is really a pain for the regulars (and not blaming you and do not want to take it out on you just livid right now with that whole formatting thing and truncation inability to reply when viewing the whole message, etc) If you can post it in parts it will be a lot easier to give you some suggestions. I know this is asking something of you and feel free to add to my complaint, who knows maybe they will change things if more complain too.
I honestly don' t know what your talking about. I can view my post 100% at the bottom of the post and in the center there is a button that says "view full message" You click that then the rest of the post appears. I' m not sure if everyone has that feature. Is that what your talking about? That button is not highlighted it is right about the rating.
Yeah but when you view the whole thing there is no reply button to copy and paste and reply...aww nm...when I have time I will c&p into word and get back to you...annoyed that there used to be a limit now no limit but you can not read it all while replying. Aggravating at times and nothing to do with you. Will reply before the weekend is over just take me some time and working on a report while here as well. | |
