email plus mail resumes
Background: I am in the process of relocating (August) and looking for a job in the new city while employed.
Question: one of the methods I am using to find a job is looking for positions online. will it be overkill if in addition to sending my resume electronically, I also mail it?
I don't think it's overkill. When you send the email, just tell them that you will be mailing them a copy as well. This may even help you since they see your name twice, they may remember you more that way.
