job titles
Hi, For the past three years, I have been working for the same company and have been promoted several times. I have had four different job titles. How should I format this on my resume? Should I give dates and a description of each position, or would it be better to lump everything together? Thanks, Olivia
Hi Olivia, Congratulations on your multiple promotions - that's very impressive! The best way to format your experience depends on what you are trying to emphasize. For example, if your current position is most relevant to your career goal, then group the positions together (as you suggested) and focus your description on your current job and accomplishments. However, if one or more of your earlier positions are more related to your goal, then you should give separate descriptions and emphasize accomplishments from earlier positions.
