HR Experience but no degree
Any suggestions making a resume stand out when an individual has 11 years of HR Generalist experience showing increases in responsibilities, but no formal degree?
Hi janchan, Your 11 years of experience will be quite valuable to employers. Create a strong Qualifications Summary that outlines your HR-related skills and progressively responsible HR experience. Load your work experience with HR-related accomplishments, especially HR solutions that potential employers might need to implement themselves. The education section should go last (by this point, your reader should already want to call you for an interview). Even though you don't have a formal degree, think about other training activities you can include in this section. If you took any HR or management classes, seminars, in-service trainings or attended professional conferences, you can include this in your Education section.
