Please critique resumeI have had a few jobs in the past 7 years that are in different career paths. I just graduated with an accounting degree and have been working in that area for the past 2 years, but before that I spent 3 years as a real estate appraiser and before that a couple years as a web developer.
I want to include them in my resume since there were high duties I performed in both areas but am afraid to look too unfocused. Do you think they are necessary.
I am also curious on how important it was to stay on one page only. Thank you. _______________________________________________________________ ObjectiveAccounting position in need of a detailed oriented professional with tax and payroll experience. If you are going to continue in accounting, in your cover letter I would highlight how your experience in real estate and/or Web development has all contributed to your accounting experience - through organization deadlines, content accountability etc. It may seem like a stretch, but there are hard skills out of both of those areas that apply to accounting. Be prepared in an internview to explain the connections too.
