How will they contact meI've uploaded my resume on Monster and kept my contact information private. I can't seem to find information on how I will be contacted by potential employers. Help?

As I noted in my original post, just my contact information is confidential. But you could answer the question either way. Seems pretty clear that they would not contact me if my resume was confidential, right? Because who would see it to want to contact me if I kept the whole thing confidential? I sure would love an answer because I have heard different things from a variety of people. Basically 1) that monster forwards replies via an encrypted e-mail address and that 2) I must provide at least an e-mail or phone # for a potential employer to contact me. Does anyone know definitively? Thanks!
Hi FL, If your resume is set to confidential and searchable, #1 is correct -- Monster forwards the replies to you without revealing your contact info to the employer. Here's the explanation from Monster's FAQs section: "Confidential and Searchable:Storing your Resume as confidential keeps your Contact Information,present employer and References private, but your Resume is stillSearchable by employers. Employers can contact you through an anonymousemail address we assign you. It's your choice to contact the employer.Selecting Save my Resume as Confidential on the ContactInformation screen stores your Resume as Confidential. If you want yourpresent employer's name hidden, be sure to choose Present as the end date for your current Job on the Work Experience screen of the builder."
