Offered full time but declined on resume

Hi all, I just finished a contract assigment at a company and I'm currently seeking another position. The company offered me a full-time position but I declined because it wasn't my interest. How should I list that information on my resume? Currently, its listed like this...

XYZ Company, Brooklyn, NY Feb 2007 - June 2007
Budget Analyst (Contract assignment. Offered permenant position but declined)

What do you guys think, its it too much information?

Thanks in advance.

Hi wky213, I just went through the same thing. All I did was put the agency down and I figured once I got into an interview I would just let them know that it was a contract position and I was offered the position but decline because of.........such reasons. Here is how I listed it on my resume.

11/2006–5/2007             Agency                                          City, State

Contract Administrator & Billing Specialist

    Review and approve client contracts

Maintain contracts in financial management system

  Bill clients monthly

   Journal entries

Expense Adjustments

I hope this helps you! If anyone else has any suggestions please let us know!

Do you think its ok though to tell them you declined on the resume?
I would not on the resume. Possibly in the cover letter or just in the interview to throw in another good quality about yourself. When you approach the topic, and I am not sure of the situation, do not speak negatively about the company. Just state that it was not a fit for you because .....then state your reasons.
Hi wky213 - You can mention in your accomplishments section that you were offered a position -- I think it looks good that the company valued your services so highly that they wanted to bring you on board. You can say something like, "Offered full-time position following four-month contract assignment." Your cover letter can briefly explain why you declined the offer, and how the position you're applying for is an excellent match to your credentials.

Good luck,
