Once interned @ current job: goes whereI've been working at my current job for about a year, but I interned at the same company for 6 months before that. I would like to incude both on my resume since I haven't been there very long, but am unsure how exactly to do this. All the resume samples I find show internships at a different company, so I can't find an example of how to do it if both are at one place. Would I just have 1 listing for the company and list both length of employment and the internship, or would I have a seperate listing for the internship that really doesn't list responsibilities since that would be outlined under the current job? Any help appreciated, thanks!
I would list them separately. I'm not a resume expert, its just my personal opinion mind you. I would list the company information with the title of XXX internĀ followed by your job responsibilities. Even if they weren't outlined from the beginning, just list any notable accomplishments and what you did at the internship. Also, list the dates that you started being an intern and stopped. The job that you took after the internship was finished. Company title, the job position title, what you do at your current job. List the date that you started working at your current job to present. | |
