printing out the resumeHi all - this is my 1st post. I haven't skipped through the steps to building a resume on this site; can someone tell me if it allows it to be saved to file / printed. Also, what is the preferred file for a resume now? It's been a long time for me, obviously. I have a program I could possibly use however I see it saves in .php format. From what I gather .txt is best? Arrgh. The floppy with my resume was (unbeknownst to me) formatted for Mac, I don't have Mac, and the place that created it no longer does either, it seems it can't be opened. Second Arrgh.
If you want to print out your resume and make t look good as well, build it up in a word document and then transform it into a pdf file. No changes whatsoever, so you keep the style :D

Thanks Alina. My third arrgh is...now isn't the time to discover the newly built-in security feature for MS software. That is, on trying to install Word it asks for product key, which doesn't exist because it came with the system. So I discovered Open Office on my laptop. I'm going to assume I can play with it until I get what I want. But...I didn't see .pdf. There was .doc, and a few look-like-application-specific others. Chris | |
