Several Jobs, Different Industries

I worked two jobs, both part-time, in two different industries.

When creating a chronological resume what format and order do you use when listing the employment?

A chronological resume is typically written in reverse chronological order (most recent job first). There are exceptions, like if you want to re-order the experience to emphasize work from your earlier career.

Instead of a chronological resume, I recommend writing a "combination" resume. This format leads with a qualifications summary and then provides a reverse chronologicalemployment history. Be sure to include a solid list of accomplishmentsfrom your two positions so employers see that you are a top performer.

I have two jobs.

One is a computer consultant which I work 20 hours a week on a 1099.

The second is a sales clerk which i work 20 hours a week on a 1099.

How are these jobs presented on a chronological resume?

I would lead with the job that is most related to your current career goal. So if you' re looking for a sales job, list sales clerk first. If pursuing a computer-related job, list computer consultant first. Is that what you are asking?
