Job was re posted, worth applying again

I've seen a few jobs re-posted that i applied for in the past. Would it be worth it to re-send my resume but with a few modifications and asking them to take another look since the job has been re-posted?

Thanks

It's worth ashot to resubmit your resume, but you might need to take a different approachwith your documents so you get noticed. One strategy that could be veryeffective is to submit a job proposal instead of a standard cover letter. Aproposal indicateswhat you plan to accomplish if you were hired. Include challenges you expect toface, your proposed solution/actions, and the anticipated benefit to theemployer. This personalized approach can help your resume stand out from thecrowd of applicants.

Good luck, andlet us know if you are offered a job interview.

Hi Kim -

I think I am going to follow you advice on this. But I have a question. What if you do not know what the job entails? Can you make a good guess and work from there? For example, I am having a difficult time getting interviews but I know I am more than qualified for all the positions I apply to or I wouldn't waste my time nor the time of the company I wish to work for.

What format do we use in creating a Job Proposal? Do you have any articles you can point us to?
