What a Crock!!!
What a waste of time this has been!! Over 100 people viewed my post yet NOT ONE person bothered to reply. I thought this was a reputable website, but I guess I was wrong! I should have just posted it on my yahoo page and asked for advice, at least there I would have had SOME type of response. Thanks for NOTHING!!!
You're welcome! [Comment removed for TOU Violation - personal attack] Dear Phinfan820: It's true your first post was viewed more than 100 times over the course of a week, and got no replies. I'm sorry you haven't received a response yet. I also note that, in the spirit of being a good community member, you posted three responses to other people's posts on this board at the same time you posted your question. Bravo, and thank you. However, I'm not sure one visit, and one question, will necessarily generate the response you desire. Rather than shifting directly from "post a question" to "slam the door," perhaps you might consider reminding the membership that you have a question pending and could really use their advice. You could link back to the original post, as I did above, or repost the question, just in case. If the question is important, asking it twice wouldn't hurt. You could also Search the board to see if there are other posts that ask the same question -- and have received replies. There's also the issue of expertise. Your question is quite specific and detailed -- and perhaps no one who viewed it has the expertise or a considered opinion on your concerns. Not all questions have easy answers. So here's another suggestion. Perhaps members with more specific expertise in your career area could help. Try posting your question on our Administrative Careers message board, hosted by IAAP education director Susan Fenner, the AdminSupport_Expert. Again, I'm sorry you didn't get the response you wanted the first time around. Please consider trying again. --CommunityEditor
The Executive got my honest response. If I was the President of that employer with that attitude would be, "YOUR FIRED! No Unemployment for you!" Call or send email next time to HR for advice, they will never respond.
This is what is known as an attitude of entitlement. phinfan, you seem to think that volunteers have an obligation to help you. We don't.
HTH
I have used this Yahoo in the past, while I was there I gave a quick answer. The experience and quality of answers are not there as on Monster forums. Being polite when asking for answers, if nobody fails to respond. Ask it in a different way, give more details and remember all of us have problems. If we can answer sometimes we do, most of want to help someone. It makes us feel better when do have a solution. | |
