The title

Hello I am a 21 year old student and I have never relly done a resume for a company. I am not sure about what to put for a title because I am not sure what type of job I am looking for. Since I have no idea what I am looking for what do I put under the title?

Thanks

Ashley

There's no such thing as resume title. Your cv should have as incipit your name and personal data. Don't worry about that. Now about the job you are searching for, you'll have to decide yourself, I mean you must like doing something right? But as you have never built a resume for a company, I would strongly recommend you consult the European CV Format (you can find it downloadable if you browse google). It helped me at maximum because it not only shows you what areas your resume should consist of, but also what to place in those areas.
Good luck!

Hi Ashley,

It's best to first determine what type of job you would like before developing your resume. If you can narrow down your objective, you can create a targeted resume that is more likely to get noticed than a general resume. This can be a challenge for new grads, but you will have much more success if your resume reflects a specific career goal along with your related qualifications. Your title can reflect your current goal as well as one or two of your top credentials.

If you have more than one possible goal, create different resume versions -- you can store multiple resumes on Monster.

Best wishes,
