List work through temp agency on resumeI want to apply to a company I worked at a temp (for 2 years) about 10 years ago, pretty much with the same line of job. I was a mechanical assembler when I was there, and now 10 years later, I have experience qualified for electro-mechanical technician. Currently, my resume does not include this job. Therefore, I have a couple questions: 1. Should I include this job again in the resume, just give them an idea that I worked there before, although it's more than 10 years ago? 2. How do I write since it's a temp job? Put in Temp Agency as Employer, and mentioned the company name below, or the Company Name as Employer and mentioned it was contracted through the Temp Agency? Thanks in advance for help. I would definitely go for listing that job again, because it is part of your work experience and it is perfectly fit on the profile of the job and company you are applying for. A lot of people are reluctant to listing every job they have done during a period of time because they don't think it is revelant to the current job they are seeking. But the truth is that if you know how to better make use of it, the chances to get a job are increased. Section of post does not conform with Monster TOU

anca gave you great advice - I agree that you should list the job on your resume. If you were on a long-term assignment, I would list the company name first (to emphasize it), and then state the temp agency. Like this: ABC Company (contracted through ABC Agency) - City State Mechanical Assembler, Years Also be sure to emphasize that you previously worked there in your cover letter, and give specific reasons why you are a good fit for the company and how you would be contribute to the team as an electro-mechanical technician.
