what is wrong with my resume
I have been sending my resume out since April 1st and have posted itpublically but the only responses I have received is from companiesseeking sales individual 100% commission which i am not interested in.Can you tell me what is wrong with my job description? Your resume lacks a lot of compulsory areas. It might seem complex and detailed to you, you may be right to believe it looks oik, but not necessarily to an employer. Your initiative is quite good, as it looks like an advertisment and this might be exploited to your benefit, but have in mind the employer is interested in some other things as well. Section of post does not conform with Monster TOU
Two weeks is not really that long. I recently read somewhere that you could expect to be looking for up to a month for every $10K in salary you're seeking (i.e. a $50K/yr salary means you could spend 5 months looking). I did want to point out one thing I noticed. You wrote, "recognized as a top performer do to[...]". The correct word is due to. What area of the country are you in? Are you looking strictly for something in the mortgage/lending field? | |
