My Resume

I have just finnised reading two books I have borrowed from the library about resumes.

THE EX-INMATES COMPLETE GUIDE TO SUCCESS

EXPERT RESUMES FOR CAREER CHANGERS.

I have forgotten already about first, second, and third person.  When I learned how to write resumes in college, I remember that the Business Communications professor taught to use the word you and not the word I when writing resumes.  I do not remember what person the word you is.  The Business Communications professor at college also said we should blow our horn when writing cover letters.  That must mean we can write cover letters using the word I.  I keep my resume current because it helps me keep track of my road game.  EXPERT RESUMES FOR CAREER CHANGERS said that we should use first person without the word I when writing resumes.  I know it does not matter.  It is not exactly what I was taught in college.  I do not ever expect to ever get a job using a resume.  I mostly send my resume to my former employer in Columbus Ohio with my numbers for the Ohio State University Football Lottery on the back.  I have not worked at a restaurant since before I got my associates degree in restaurant management.  My claim to fame as a busboy in Columbus Ohio is that I once bussed Earl Bruce's table.  I did not get my tip money.  If my college degree ever pays off, I will receive a restaurant when I get my winnings in the Ohio State University Football Lottery.  As soon as I delete all of the information that monster does not want on my resume, I will post it.  I want to know if I am writing it in the right person.  I will be going back to work at Labor Ready in Michigan as soon as my folks get home from Florida.  Labor Ready has told me not to waste my time sending them my resume.  Maybe I have made improvements so that my resume will be read better by a scanner.  Imagine what having my Ohio State University Football Lottery Numbers computerized will be like.

I have not figured out the new monster boards.  I am scheduled to go back to work for Labor Ready at the end of this month.  I have made modifications to my resume to make it more readable for electronic scanners.  I will probably send another copy of my current resume to a former employer in Columbus Ohio folded up in a standard business envelope.  Maybe if I lay enough asphalt in Michigan this summer, I will be able to afford to go back to Columbus Ohio and get my old job back.  I want to get new numbers in the Ohio State University Football Lottery.  I may be to only native Buckeye in the world who would not cheer for Ohio State for all of the tea in China.  IM4BGSU
