can I edit my resume text is off

Hey all,

I just updated my resume, and uploaded it.  Looking at it from 'my account' view, the spacing is all off, and it looks really bad!

How can I be proud of this, if it looks like I can't set margins or indents?  I sent an email to the help desk on this yesterday, and have not gotten a reply back.

Any one have a solution?  Or does it open in it's original form when the employers look at it?

Thanx in advance for your help!

Hi suz07

From what I found.........

Note: You can easily modify the appearance of the text versionof your Word resume by clicking the 'edit' link within the Resume Textsection. To make content changes, we recommend that you update yourWord document and then repeat the upload resume process.

Q: How do I fix a typo in my Microsoft Word resume?Top
A: When you upload a Microsoft Word resume, thetext from your Word document is displayed on the View Resume page. YourWord document is also saved in its original format. To correct a typoin both locations, you must update your Word document and repeat theupload resume process. To change the appearance of the text version, click 'edit' within the Resume Text section on View Resume.

Once you make changes you can email your resume to your private email
account to check how it looks.

Just go here and put your email address.........

Hope this helps!

You might as well think of converting your resume into a pdf format, because pdf doesn't allow text or images to change position or shape. The help desk has a lot of requests, it takes a while to write back ;)

Section of post does not conform with Monster TOU

Hi Suz,

You may lose some of youroriginal formatting when an employer previews your Word resume on Monster, butyour formatting will be retained when an employer downloads the Word file.

Employers are used to resumes not looking perfect when previewing the Word file, so I don't think you need to worry about it.

Best wishes,
