Mailing a resumeWhat's the etiquette for mailing your resume? Folded in a regular envelope on plain white paper or in a large envelope on stock paper? Thanks in advance for your help.
I'd go with the second one in a good envelope.
If possible, mail your resume flat in a 9x12 envelope -- your resume will look betterunfolded, the letter will stand out in a stack of regular-sized envelopes, andyou'll avoid the "flaking" that often occurs when a line of text isfolded. If you use astandard business envelope, try not to fold your resume where there is a lineof text. Best wishes,Kim Isaacs The Resume Expert | |
