Mr. Mom 4 month gig

Hi Folks,

I have been watching my 7 month old daughter since November while the wife is  at work. Now we are switching and I want to know should I put something on the resume about this and how to do it?

I really don't want  a 4 month gap just sitting there...How will employers view my Mr. Mom thing? My wife thinks probably not in a good way. i disagree. what do you think?

Appreciate the time to respond. Take care.

Best,

Kev

You call that a gap in employment? Don't worry about it, it can be covered easily.Nothing to be ashamed of a Mr. Mom status. Just motivate your wife's job was way better paid and you have decided to stay with the kid yourself in this period and now you are ready to start working .

Section of post does not conform with Monster TOU

alina gave you great advice - don't worry about covering up the 4-month gap - it's not that long to be out of work. You might be asked about your situation when you go for job interviews, and you can decide what you would like to discuss at that point.
