Question about Bilingual

Hi

I am a bilingual English and Vietnamese

In my resume i put:

Bilingual-fluent in spoken and written English and Vietnamese.

Should i take out English..i am assume that employer know that i am speak english.

I am asking this because i was so shock, when i received a phone called, she ask me how is english skills.

Thanks advance

1. You should keep in the English.
2. That said, you need to learn it better.

It's standard to list the various languages you speak or write, along with your level of mastery.  So I would suggest listing it as follows:

Bilingual: Speak and write both English and Vietnamese fluently.

Most likely, the employer is simply picking up on your being a "foreigner" whose second language is English.  And so indicating you're fluent in writing and speaking it becomes important and is getting noticed, which is a good thing!
