WORK EXPERIENCE

1. On the whole, not a bad resume.  Keep in mind that not many people come to Monster to search for security types, so your hits, saves, and contacts from here may be irrelevant.  To get a job, you'll have to do the searching and resume sending - just posting a resume won't make for a successful search.

2. "Seekinga position in protective services with an opportunity for advancementand growth based on experience and job performance."  Nope.  At your level, you should be seeking a managerial position.  Try

A position as a Manager in Protective Services.

3. Spelling.  Achievement, vendors, Sergeant (not SGT), Clinton's, prolonged.

4. Your Achievements are great, but there is no real organization to them.  Group them by main topic, and supply a brief header to each.  And either drop the machine shop experience to the end, or remove it altogether.

5. Any way that you can combine positions in your Experience section so you look less like a jobhopper? For example, combine the two adjacent Wackenhut positions and make it one position with two titles.  Did you do any of the positions on a contract basis for one agency with multiple clients?  If so, combine the positions, list the agency name, and then list the clients' names and titles within the main block.

6. Drop the HS from your education.
I took the easy way out on the achievements  when I was setting up this resume, I just cut and pasted from the old layout to this one. Its devided into jobs. I noticed that there is alot of  repeating becouse of this. As far as Wackenhut that was actually 2 different jobs with the same corperation (2 different divisions). The first one was with several companys. I was a FLex officer, and worked numerous posts. I am working on updating now, I will repost when I get the changes done, I greatly appriciate your help.

Here it is, the spacing showed up when I cut and pasted it.
