I am a recruiter and I read resumes and interview people all day long. Here are some tips for finding a job.

Know your skill set (what you are good at) it won’t do you any good to get a job that you will hate because you will constantly be struggling. There are a number of websites that will help you evaluate your skill set.

I have seen the worst resumes come across my desk. Make sure you have a resume that is right for your background.

Pick a geographical location in which you want to work and focus your search within that area.
