Career Tips

include partial education degree

I have been in the IT field for 26 years mostly management and sales with major Hardware/Software vendors and good salaries.  But I want to make a change after 10 years with current and I'm back to my old problem regarding no formal education degree. I have two years of college that I got at night, but was just working too hard to finish.  what is the best way to state that on a resume, when my job experience and W2's tell the real story?  Any ideas?  Leaving it off doesn't feel right, but no degree is nothing to highlight.  Comments welcomed.

Do your two years equate to an AA or AS degree?  If so list it.  If not you can list that you've taken X number of credits.  You can also enroll in a reputable adult education program and then list it on your resume like this:

Acme University Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science- anticipated graudation date 2010

Good luck!

thanks for the suggestion.
