professional organizationsI recently joined a highly respected professional organization with an online career center where we can post resumes. My question is: should I include my address and phone number on my resume or just use the e-mail address (as they recommend that we do here on Monster)?
Many thanks You need to do whatever you feel most comfortable with. Do you believe that the individuals within that organization are going to respect your resume and you? Monster is a public board and so your information is seen by many people from many industries and some who may be unscrupolous and only on the boards to be employers. I have gotten so many emails from people who say that they sw my resume on monster and have a "business opportunity" for me. And some of these came waaaaaay before the hackers who stole our information. If this organization is comprised of just the professionals within the industry of your choice then there shouldn't be any trouble with posting all your information (except social -- never post that).
