Resume Disclosure for New Job SearchI recently went on a job search, left my old company of 2 years and took a new job. WELL...This job isn't what it was promised to be. I'm MISERABLE here and it's time to job hunt again. The problem is, I've only been here 2 months! I'm not a 'job hopper" I've been out of college just over 6 years and this is my 3rd job...my previous ones were 3.5 years and 2 years. This new gig just isn't what it promised. Should I ignore that I've been here and just not include it on my resume and just pretend I'm still at my last job..or should I say that I left my job 2 months ago and haven't been working..or should I just own up to this place being not what it promised? By saying 'not what it promised" it means that I going to be working on commssion only a risk I was willing to take leaving my old job that was salary plus comssion...but I have yet to recieve ANY training here to sell the products AND in fact nobody here even SPEAKS to me?!?! A couple of very good points. I work in Las Vegas and I have conducted many background checks. In this city an omission on a resume or employment application CAN and DOES result in being terminated. Include all employment info. Just make sure you state the job was not a good fit. And never - ever slam a previous employer to a potential employer | |
