Need Help With Cover LetterThere is a job I want them to consider me for as a clinical sales specialist in my field. It would involve "clinical, technicaland training expertise with direct sales responsibility in the hospitalsetting. This includes laptop presentations, as well as productdemonstrations on-site, at trade shows and workshops. The positionrequires frequent air travel covering a large territory with scheduledependent on account activity. Ability to interface/communicate with avariety of levels (clinical/non-clinical) is critical for success."
In the bullets it mentions wanting a bachelors degree which I don't have but have 24 years experience and three national credentials that are highly sought after in the field that would make me highly desirable for the position. Can I get some help wording a cover letter that will get them to consider my years of experience and credentials and consider me for the position? Thanks! I have over a decade of experience as an In-House Recruiter and an International Recruitment Consultant and have to admit, 95% of Recruiters rarely ever read a Cover Letter. It is skimmed over and should be a brief introductory letter confirming the vacancy you are applying for, a very brief outline of your experience and why you would be perfect for the role and your interview availability. Recruiters are more impressed by a "knock ya sox off" Resume. Focuse on your Resume and you will do brilliantly. It is your Resume that is your Sales Tool - Make it work for you.
