Want previously turned down job

I had 3 job offers in January and chose one that did not work out well for me.Now 9 months later, I want to contact the employers who made me those offers and see if they have anything available and do not know how to approach them...

Please help!

Thanks!

Just out of curiousity, are you still at the job or have you already left?  I would think your best approach would be to get in touch with them and honestly explain how the last position didn't work out and how you would like to be considered again for their company.  Could you go into a little detail as to why your last position didn't work out for you?  That might help in forming a strategy in approaching the other two employers.

9 months later?  Forget it.  If they have a new opening you can certainly apply.  9 months later the specific jobs are long gone.

The reason my position did not work out is because I was hired as a manager to oversee 4 coordinators and then 3 of them quit and I was left to do thier work and was told that I could only hire a replacement for one of them. My responsibilities completely changed after. Now, I want to contact the employers who offers to me previously to see if they have any open positions, but am not sure how to approach them. I want them to know that although I was very interested in thier companies and the work they produce, I did not feel that the positions they offered to me at that time were in line with my career goals at that time.

What is the best way to say that to them?

Dear Mr. Dude Who Offered me A Job 9 Months Ago That I turned Down And Now I Am A Miserable Mess:

My name is Juliel51325 and I am a Certified Proffesional Accountant's Administrative Assistant. I have umpteen years of experience in this field and am very interested in working for your company.

Approximately 9 months ago, I interviewed for the position of your Executive Assistant and was very impressed with the company's focus and vision. Unfortunately, circumstances prevented me from accepting the offer you extended at that time.

I have checked your website for any additional job positngs and, while I realize that the original position is no longer available, your company is still of great interest to me and I am inquiring about any job openings that you are currently recruiting for, or may be recruiting for in the future, that have not been posted yet.

Attached is an updated cover letter and resume which I hope that you will be able to review for any available or future opportunites.

Thank you for your time and consideration. Please feel free to contact me at 000-111-2222.

Sincerley,

Juliel51325

And definately do check the individual company websites two or three times per day. There are several opportunites that are not posted right away even though the positions are open.

It isn't necessary to burden the former interviewer with the problems you encountered in the job you turned them down for. Or even to tell him/her that you turned their offer down for a job that you no longer enjoy. There is time enough for that when you go into your new interview.

Thankyou!!!! That is exactly what I needed to know.
