Chances are the job was posted again because the amount of resumes received from qualified applicants did not fit the regulations of the company. It never hurts to submit another resume. But, before you do, double check all your information and guarantee that it conforms to the requirements asked for by the company. Check spelling, grammar and punctuation. When you submit your information, include a paragraph, no more than 2 lines, noting that you did submit your resume on August 24 and a reason why you are resubmitting.
Aslo remember, there is a slight chance that the posting was made in error. If you can, locate a telephone number and call the company to inquire about the position.
I just had this very thing happen to me recently. I posted about it the other day. Doesn't seem to be much advice on this subject. I only received one reply like you did. I figure why not just give them a call and inquire explaining that you previously submitted your resume and would like to be considered again. | |
