I have been unemployed for one year: partly due to getting well after my mother' s death and the other part due to the fact that I' ve been looking for the "perfect" job.   In the past I said my gap was by choice (my last job was a 3 1/2 yr temp job) after temping & I' m ready to get back into the workplace.  I got interviews but no offers.   I started being honest with potential employers for the past month & I' m still not getting offers.

Now what?
