Time before Calling Back a RecruiterI talked to a recruiter about a position yesterday. She said she would pass my name on to people in that function & if they were interested they would call me for a phone interview. If they were not interesting she would pass me on to the internal side of the company. My question is how long do I wait for before checking back with the recruiter on a status? 30 days? Are you talking about an outside recruiting firm or an inhouse recuriter that is employed byt he company you are possibly getting an interivew with ? There is a huge difference - if its an outside recruiter I doubt very highly that they would ever turn you loose to the internal company' s pool. But either way - send them an email or just call for a status update after a few days. Internal recruiters get super busy as they all do but cant hurt. | |
