How do I get recruiter off the dime

A few weeks ago I interviewed with a recruiter for a specific contract-to-perm position. I decided the position wasn't quite right for me, but we agreed that the recruiter would keep an eye out for other possibilities.

If I leave my current (direct) job, I'll need to make some provision for health insurance. In principle, I could continue my current insurance via COBRA; in practice, the cost would be prohibitive. The recruiter told me the recruiting firm offers insurance to contractors, with the client company insuring me once I go on staff there. From the once-over-lightly the recruiter gave me about the health coverage, I was left with some questions about just how much I might be out of pocket in the event of a major illness. The recruiter said he'd get more comprehensive information from their benefits people and send it on to me.

That was a few weeks ago, I've spoken to the recruiter on the phone a couple of times since, and I've gently reminded him that I'd like this information about the medical coverage. So far he shows no sign of getting it to me. The hell of it is, the job market in my field isn't the greatest at the moment, so I feel I need to play ball with the recruiter. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If this is their insurance that they offer in their office then call email and go there in person if you have to and tell them you will NOT go on any more interviews until you know the specifics of what you will be taking on versus leaving behind
