Emailing a Potential ContactSo my buddy knows a girl who gave me a connection to someone i was interested in emailing to find out if there was maybe a job opening with their company. Now that i have the person' s contact information, i dont know what to say in my email... i was planning on saying that i was given his name by this person and wanted to see what kind of career opportunities might be available.... but i cant phrase this in a way that im comfortable with.... Any Suggestions?? Our mutual friend, provided me with your name as a contact for possible employment information within your company. Currently I am searching for a position in the Financial Field and feel that I would make an outstanding addition to A to Z Apples Corporation in your Accounting Department. I received my Bachelors degree in Accounting at the University of Egotisitical Professors and would it is my sincere belief that your company would be a perfect fit with my knowledge, personality, experience, skills and abilities. My transcripts and my resume can be provided to you upon your request. I look forward to hearing from you very shortly, Sincerely, Thanks for the help! I don' t even know if the company is hiring or if i am what they would need... i just wanted to pick his brain at the least, and get a job at most. I like my job now, so Im not "looking" for a new job, however if the situation is right, i would probably bite on it. | |
