Job Weaknesses

What are 3 good weaknesses to say when asked the question "What are your 3 job related weaknesses?"

I have an interview Monday for a medical Secretary position. I have interviewed with this same large clinic 4 times over the past 13 years so I know they always ask this question. I actually worked there as a file clerk way back in 1995. In 2004, I had two interviews there but was not chosen. This interview is for a different office in the clinic so its unrelated to any of the other positions I have interviewed for. For this position I would be answering phones, scheduling appointments and taking patients back to rooms. It' s a small 2 doctor vascular office. They currently only have 4 staff members total in the office and are obviously growing.

I usually like to say I am on the shy side as one of my weaknesses but am afraid to say that due to the fact I will be interacting with people. I usually say I am an open speaking person and sometime stick my foot in my mouth. I am afraid to say both of those. What is good to say? Another one I was thinking was that maybe I need brushing up on my medical terminology spelling? Is that ok to say?

How about, "I have a hard time putting up with IHR morons who ask stupid questions and, if I don' t get the job,  sometimes catch them in the parking lot after work and give them an ass whup' in!"

Why is that in the interview you need to give acceptable answers.  Once hired some HR will play deaf with your questions and emails? Lately I been asked these pretend questions and specific details.  I have a good memory, but some people can' t remember where they parked their car.

Example:  Can you remember a time when everybody was wrong and you were right, give us details no genralities.  Lucky, I remembered a good one. These can be tricking, careful not to show any hostility.  If you gave all the time, that would be a red flag.

The best answer is an honest one and what you are doing to overcome that weakness.  So if you used the terminology one then you would tell them what you are doing to brush up on it.  Make sense?

They must have revised their questions since I was last there 2yrs ago cause this time they only wanted me to name one weakness, last time they wanted 3.  What I answered the HR lady said she was the same way. It was a big hit!  I ended up interviewing with 4 people today! The office manager said if it were up to her she would hire me right there, this was after I interviewed with the 2 doctors that own the practice. She told me what she will give me for starting pay but that I have to officially get called by HR to accept the offer and that she would be calling them right away to tell them they liked me. They already called my references too. Two of my reference people called to tell me.

I just wanted to say goodbye and thanks to everyone that has given me advice over the last 3 months that I have been reading posts here.  I did get a job offer yesterday and start working Monday already as a medical Secretary and they are willing to work around my 2 days a week that I work at Chili' s so I can give them an official 2 week notice there. I am really happy about how it has all worked out and they are giving me the highest amount I have ever been paid before. It might not be a high dollar job that many of you are seeking but it means a lot to me and my family. I won' t be coming here to post anymore as life will be busy now. I wish you all the best in your job seeking adventures and hope you all find what you are looking for and get lucky soon! Never give up! Best wishes everyone!
