Questions to ASK @ the end!!!

I am a college student and I have found the perfect Teller position and I have passed all of the steps to get the FINAL interview with the banks branch manager. I recently read somewhere on this website that it doesn' t show preparedness when you are asked if you have any questions at the end of the interview and you reply with the answer "NO".  So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of what I could possibly ask at the end, so I can sound well prepared for the interview.

I somewhat disagree with the thinking that you should save your questions for the end. I ask a lot of questions during the interview, at the right time.

If you do that and still have unanswered questions, ask them at the end. Otherwise, the standard questions are those about decision times, when to follow up and "Based on what you have seen, is there any reason you wouldn't hire me?"

That particular question ("Based on what you have seen, is there any reason you wouldn't hire me?") might put pressure on the intervviewer, and you do NOT want to come across as pushy.

Safe questions:

"What is it like to work here?"

"What attributes would be most valuable in filling this position?"

"So, when can I expect to hear something from you?"

These are working for me.

Yes that question does put pressure on the interviewer. However look at the situation that you may be in. The interview is your first, and maybe only, shot. If you are the number one choice... the best the interviewer has seen... the question will not offend them and would not dissuade them from hiring you.

If you are not their number one choice... and the interviewer has reasons why you are not... you either (a) ask the question in order to get an opportunity to address the issues preventing you from being hired and maybe change their mind or (b) ask the mundane questions, go home and wait for the rejection letter in the mail or never hear from them again.
