Need some advice on follow up.
I recently completed a serial interview with an employer on April 30th. The interviews went very well and they seemed to really like my questions and were able to get a sense of my personality. At the conclusion I met with the recruiter and we talked about the perks and benefits of the job. She told me that she had already received favorable reviews from at least two of the interviewers I had met with. Then she brought up the question of what my salary requirements were. I responded with something along the lines of 'fair market value' as well as reiterating my strengths for the position. To which she responded, "Great answer." and then went back to looking at her computer screen. That made me feel a little uneasy although It appeared as though she was trying to reference the announcement for the salary range. Anyway, she said that it would be about a week before decisions would be made. Throughout the process I got a sense that I was the only candidate for the job. Yesterday was exactly one week since I interviewed. Is it now time for me to contact? I did send thank you emails within 24 hours of my interviews. Other info: The company has 5000 employees and I'm applying at it's corporate HQ. It's brand is nationally recognized and is growing in western Europe. The position I applied for was newly created and the work was previously outsourced to a third party. The answer is let some other two days to pass and then use a letter of continuing interest. Section of post does not conform with Monster TOU Call, don't write. Ask whether a decision has been made and, if not, whether they need more info from you. Finally, ask when you can follow up again. | |
