To call or not to call...

I am currently living in Orlando and applied for a job in NY.  Someone from their CT office called me that same day to schedule a phone interview for the following week.  The phone interview went extremely well and the next question was when I could fly up to NY for an in-person interview.  I flew up the following week (at my own expensses) and did a two day interview with 7 of their managers and directors.  They were at first worried that I would not be able to handle a very sales driven environment but I did my best to address all their concerns and sell myself as much as possible.  I spoke with the lady in CT who is handling the placement of the position after my first interview in person and she said that they did like me.  They told me that they would contact me next week (which is this week).  The lady from CT called again yesterday and said that they really liked me but they were concerned about me moving to NY. (What if I don't like living there, etc.)  I told her that I have lived in NY all my life and was only living down here in FL for 4 years.  I explained that I know the city very well and that I have a lot of family and friends that to support my transitiion.  She even asked about when I could start which I said about 4-5 weeks.  She seemed pleased with my answered and told me she would have the Director from the NY office give me a call.  Well I thought she would call that same day (yesterday) but didn't.  Then again today no phone call.  Should I call them?  Is it too soon?  How long should I wait?

Too soon! Hiring you is not the only thing the Director has to do during the day.

If you don't hear by Monday, give them a call.
