No descision yet
I recently interviewed for a position that is an ideal match for me and was told a descision would be made by yesterday and I would be informed of a descision either way. I have yet to hear anything back. Is it too soon to contact them to ask if a descision has been made? They were wanting to move fast in hiring someone as this is a new account for them which begins May 1.
I would wait until tomorrow. Very often these things don't go as fast as they'd hoped. I wouldn't be surprised if they still haven't gotten all the right people together to make a decision. If they haven't decided yet, ask when you should check back again.
