four months and counting
Just a quick view from the other side of the table. I work in a large byzantine organization and have been trying to get an internal job posted. My HR has been jerking me around for four months and counting. So when you wonder what the heck goes on behind the curtain, think troll-like doltish hr employees and you are not far off.
Thanks for posting this. I am on that other side of "four months and counting" for the whole process and 7 weeks since the last contact with the hiring manager. I was browsing here to see if I could see any advice for someone in my shoes. Honestly, the company has been great. Lots of contact but the process seems like maple syrup dripping in Vermont in February. Glad to hear that the agony is not just on the candidates
