Dear xxxxxx xxxxxxxxxx:
Thank you again for the opportunity to interview for the Production Supervisor position. I appreciated your hospitality and enjoyed meeting you and members of your staff.
The interview convinced me of how compatible my background, interest, and skills are. ...[Message truncated]
Yep, actually you thank you letter looks pretty good. But you should pay attention because somewhere in the paragraph before the last you are repeating yourself (you say "place" twice and it is itchy to the ear). Also....when you end the thank you letter/note, you should not use "Sincerely yours," because it is too informal, it is familiar towards intimate actually so...avoid that and say "Sincerely," instead. Section of post does not conform with Monster TOU hope you did not send it yet 'cause it has serious problems. The interview convinced me of how compatible my background, interest, and skills are.
Compatable with what? It is a totally incomplete thought! Aside from that, an interview is not about convincing you of anything. It is about convincing them that your background, skills and interest are compatible with their needs.
As I mentioned during our conversation, I am confident my work along with the team in Place will result in the attainment of the goals you have set in place.
There is a typo in this sentence. Place is not capitalized and you use the same word twice.
Some of the questions I asked helped me get a better understanding of where the Company is, its culture and the Direction is heading, and I liked the answers I received.
Again another capitalized word in the middle of the sentence and the sentence structure is confusing does not say anything and again, it is not about you LIKING their answers but is about demonstrating that you fit in thier culture and goals.
As for the interviewing team, great questions were asked, well prepared team. ...[Message truncated]
Here are a couple of positive examples: 1) ----Note in addition to this one, the VP who led the panel got a very different thank you----- I just wanted to take a minute to thank each of you for taking time out of your busy schedule to participate on the interview panel today. Having sat on your side of the table a number of times, I can appreciate how much interviewing adds to your “regular” workload. It was truly my pleasure to meet each of you. Hearing each of your perspectives made me more aware of the issues, opportunities and challenges inherent in this position. 2) ---note this is a position I got---- Since I am flying all day tomorrow, I am sending a “group” note to express my thanks for the opportunity
3) ---note this was a 1 yr limited duration project I wanted to take a minute to thank you for the great interview yesterday. I really appreciate the Sincerely | |
