Urgently need 2nd interview advice!!!I had a first face to face interview and was called for a second face to face interview with the same person...pretty sure i have the job (which starts april 30th because thats when the company opens their new location) but need to take off the second week i start and cannot cancel the plans ive already made....how do i handle this? wait to tell the employer till after i start? tell them during the second interview? whats the best way to approach it? How do you think the employer will handle this situation?
I would tell them after they offer you the position. But I'm no expert...
After they offer the job, you tell them that you need that week off unpaid. Ask them if they'd rather you start and then take off or delay your start date.
