Just had phone interview WednesdayI'm probably being too nervous...but I applied for a position that I would really love to have...and was called for a phone interview, which i had on Wednesday. I am hoping it went well (there were a few odd questions, but I did the best I could)...and I've been on pins and needles the past couple days! Anyhow, I am hoping this is a good thing: the recruiter asked me to send my resume in (she said somethign about a glitch in the computer system, so my resume did not upload via the website), and I sent it in to her, and did not hear from her, saying whether or not she received it...so I decided to follow up today to see if she received it as an attachment on a previous email. She emailed me back letting me know that she did receive it, and stated that they do not schedule any more interviews till Mid May, and that if they were interested, they would let me know. Think that's a good thing that she told me the time frame, particularly since I did not ask her? And I plan to send a thank you note to her :)
Well, good for you that you want to send her a thank you note. Now....I'm not saying she'll keep her promise entirely and actually take your cv into consideration somewhere in May, because...well....let us just offer her the chance to prove me wrong. My question would be: how did you get the interview if not after they have seen your resume? You said you went well during the phone interview. I'm thinking you've sent the cv and they contacted you after reading it, right? Anyway....the new situation being done, send her the thank you note and also send her some follow-ups, some letters of continuing interest to show her you're still interested in a job in her company.
