Interview for a contract position....
I am going in for an interview tomorrow that is Contract/to hireposition. This is a large hotel/resort company that hires onlycontract at first in their design/construction department. Interior Design position that will involve branding, visual design, and administrative work. I have one year experience with office design/space planning, but no hospitality. A lot of retail/customer service/ some residential. The recruiter that I met with last week was confident that my skills, portfolio, and the way I interviewed is a perfect match for that position. I do not want to blow it. I amexcited to have contact with them, but I have no idea what kind ofquestions to ask them and how to best frame them about specificevaluation for contract to get hire process. Any advice on what appropriate questions for this kind of work? I never dealt with contract positions, so would I ask about benefits? the evaluation process? The details about after contract is over? Where they expect me to be? Does someone have a list of thoughtful questions or a web link that can help me with this? "...but no hospitality." I hope you don't mean hostility (just kidding). As far as money and benefits go, wait until you're either pressed or they make you an offer. Good luck to you. | |
