Job Offers...Please advise!

Hello everyone,

After being dry for 3 months I have been very fortunate to have 4 in person interviews next week. They are across the country in the same city. My question is:

If someone offers me a job at the interview, what is the appropriate way to tell them I have other parties who are interested and will need some time to review my options.

I know what I typed is the correct thing to say, so I am asking how this should be handled. It may or may not happen but I want to be proactive just in case. I feel 4 companies flying me across the country for separate interviews, I hope my chances are good.

Appreciate your help and support.

No one who is flying you across the country for an interview is going to offer you the job on the spot.  Things just don' t work like that anymore.

If, however, they (by some miracle) DID do that, ask "when do you need an answer?"  If they say they need it in a week or 3 days or whatever, then that' s when you have to give one, whether you know what the others are going to do or not.  And don' t say you' re waiting to hear if you can do better elsewhere (which is what it says if you say you' re waiting on other offers).  No one wants to be your back up date.
