Provide more details. The same people go to most of the Forums and you will probably get a satisfactory response here or even several responses. Without knowing all the facts, I do not think this is a good decision. Give the new job your best effort and treat your new employer the way you would like to be treated. How would you feel if you were fired almost immediately? You could very well end up with nothing at all so think about this long and hard before you do something you may regret. If you actually have an acceptable offer in your hand then notify the other job ASAP. Apologize for the inconvenience that you are causing and then move on. If you don't yet have an offer or you have an offer that still needs to be negotiated/fine tuned, you either start the new job knowing you might leave or back out now in hopes that the second company makes an acceptable offer. In this scenario, you may end up with neither job. | |
